What Znavo is
Znavo hosts online courses. Each course is published by its author, who sets its content and its price. We provide the platform, take the payment and give you access to what you bought.
A course is a set of lessons: text, images, video and files. What a course contains is described on its public page before you pay.
Your account
You need an account to open a course you have paid for. The email address you pay with becomes your login.
Keep your password to yourself. An account is for one person; sharing the login is the same as sharing the course, and both are grounds for us closing it.
You can delete your account at any time by writing to us. Deleting it ends your access to everything bought with it, and we do not refund what is left of a subscription.
Buying a course
A course is sold either as a one-off purchase or as a subscription, and some are sold both ways. The page says which before you pay.
A one-off purchase gives you access to that course for as long as it exists on Znavo. It does not expire.
A subscription renews at the interval shown on the course page and is charged to your card until you stop it. Stopping it is one button in your account; access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, and no further payment is taken.
A free trial, where offered, becomes a paid subscription when it ends unless you stop it first.
Prices are shown in US dollars and include no tax unless the checkout says otherwise. The price you pay is the price shown at the moment of purchase; a later price change does not affect a subscription already running.
What you may do with a course
You get a personal, non-transferable right to watch and read the course for your own learning.
You may not copy, re-upload, resell, publicly show or share a course or any part of it, and you may not strip out the video or the files to distribute them.
Nothing in a course is professional advice. What you do with it is your own decision.
Course authors
An author is responsible for their own course: that they own the material or have the right to sell it, that it is what the page describes, and that it does not break the law.
We can take a course off sale, or remove it, if it breaks these terms or the law.
Suspension
We can block an account that shares a login, redistributes a course, abuses other people, or attacks the service. A blocked account keeps what it bought on record, and we will tell you why on request.
Availability
We work to keep Znavo running but do not promise it is available without interruption. Maintenance, a failure at one of our providers, or something outside our control can take it offline for a while.
A course can be removed by its author. If that happens, it stays visible in your library and stops opening; write to us if you bought it recently.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury or fraud.
Changes
We can change these terms. A change is published on this page with a new date at the top, and it applies from that date. A change that materially affects a running subscription is announced by email first.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of [JURISDICTION], and the courts of [JURISDICTION] have exclusive jurisdiction — except where consumer law gives you the right to sue where you live.
